In addition to the items covered in the FHWA privacy policy, this website provides conference registration and notification.

Use of information collected during the conference registration process. Online registration begins February 22, 2008. Before that date, individuals can send their email addresses to conference organizers for the purpose of receiving notification when online registration opens. This option is available at: http://www.2008tcmconference.volpe.dot.gov/register.asp. Email addresses submitted through this option will be used by conference organizers only. Email addresses will be maintained on a secure U.S. DOT server.

The online registration form collects registrant contact information needed to manage and coordinate conference registration activities. Registration data:

• Will be maintained in a database to facilitate registration activities. The database will be located on a secure U.S. DOT server.
• Will not be shared with individuals others than conference organizers.
• Will be archived for the purpose of notifying registrants of future, related conferences.
